SOLD OUT!
2024 Fight for Freedom Fund Luncheon
1-4 PM, Saturday, September 14, 2024

Our branch endeavors to confront injustice, disrupt inequalities, dismantle racism and accelerate change.  Please join us as we celebrate community leaders who have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to these goals. While their endeavors may not always have garnered widespread attention, their impactful work is recognized by those who value their dedication and effectiveness.

This year, we will be honoring the legacy of Mrs. Lula-Mae Parker-Harris, an exceptional leader who fearlessly championed civil rights, demonstrating exemplary civic activism throughout Dutchess County!

Awards will be presented to local luminaries whose work in the community is exemplary. These are heroes in the trenches every day, working where it matters for real change and going unnoticed too often!

The Fight for Freedom Fund Luncheon was founded in a period of renewed national hope and determination among Black Americans, even in the face of continuing racial violence and tragedy. With your support, we can continue to fight for justice in the areas of education, housing, economic development, and youth programs within Dutchess County.
